I have been part of the Carmel Community Church since 2025. The year the church celebrated 75 years of being part of the Denton community. A testament to the faith in action that Carmel has championed over the years.
I have been involved in children’s, youth, pastoral care and chaplaincy over the years, with a passion to see lives transformed through an encounter with Jesus. I currently work part time for Derbyshire Constabulary and Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service as their chaplain coordinator.
I am married to Craig and have two teenage sons. Craig and I met on the worship team at university back in 2001 and still enjoy worshipping together. We love walks in the local hills and by the sea, as it stills our thoughts and reminds us where our help comes from.
There is no other place that can compare to being part of a church family. Everyone matters. Everyone has a place. Every time we gather, it’s a celebration of who God is. He is a God who provides, a God of restoration and a God of forgiveness - and I think we could all use a little of that in the community we live and love.
