Olive Branch Baby Loss group is here to offer support and listen. Lead by experienced Midwife Toni Singleton the group holds a monthly informal drop-in, for anyone affected by the loss of a baby, no matter how recent or how long ago. All are welcome to call in for a brew, a chat, and a selection of keepsake crafts for those that want to. The group is for adults only, but we hope to plan some family events throughout the year. | |

You will 'have a go' at singing, dancing, acting, mime, improvisation, role-play, and much more! We also facilitate the Tameside Arts Awards, helping to develop young people's creativity. We perform two shows per year at Hyde Festival Theatre and also participate in fundraising events, most recently helping raise funds for Hyde Festival Theatre. | |
Tuesday 18th January 2022 | Day of prayer and fasting! | Once a fortnight we continue to pray for our church family. We have many that are battling serious illnesses and long term painful medical conditions like fibromyalgia plus those that are dealing with sudden illness. We are also praying for the needs of our country in connection with Covid. Our focus will be on asking for breakthrough where only God can make a difference. If you have a prayer request then let us know so we can pray for you too! There are several ways you can get involved. You can pray at home setting some of the day aside for pray and fasting. You can meet up and pray with others either in person or on a video conference call through whatsapp or FB messenger. You can request a call from Mark or Ged and they will pray with you over the phone. However you pray, know that your prayers make a difference and we have seen some amazing answers to prayers over the last 2 years.. so get involved! | |

There are a range of crafts on offer to try, including sugarcraft, card making, knitting and crocheting, painting with watercolours, adult colouring and sewing. The group meets term time only on a Tuesday from 10am - 12 noon and is open to anyone in the community who would like to try their hand at new crafts or improve on their current skills. Each week there will be different crafts on offer and The Olive cafe will also be open so you can stay after and enjoy a bite to eat for lunch or just enjoy a coffee and slice of homemade cake.
